Ryobi HID-710 (drill)

Just feel it is my moral obligation to let the public know that I bought the above mentioned drill in November 2014 and it has already packed up. I am just a simple home DIY'er and have used the thing not more than a couple of hours. Took it to Steven's and Co in Springflield and they were like - cheaper to buy a new one Sir, the bearing (a moveable part) is not covered under the guarantee. Reading the Ryobi warranty information it does state \excludes any defects which may arise from normal wear and tear". So what this tells me is that this item suffers from such poor workmanship and part quality that it will wear and tear under light usage in a couple of months and Ryobi know that and that's why they put that statement in their TC's. To those thinking of buying this"
