Ryobi hand tools pros and cons
For many years I've been using Ryobi drilling machines with great success. They are very good priced and especially their concrete drilling function is very efficient. They are also very nice to handle and very durable. Their first electric *****drivers were though a disappointment because their rechargeable batteries did not last very long. A few years later I bought the drilling set with 51 different interchangeable points and the *****driver itself is charged via a USB port and this is now a nice piece of tool to have! BUT, coming to their garden electric tools is another story: after using the wheat-eater for about half an hour the bottom cover broke loose. I took it back to the supermarket where I bought it and almost more than a month later I only got the repaired and "improved" machine back where they replaced the plastic cover with a rubber cover, but regrettably the same story. I could though fix it myself more strongly to the machine with little sheet metal hooks and pop rivets which worked quite well, but a week or so before the electric motor started to overheat. I still have to try and look at it. The garden dust and leaf vacuum cleaner works fairly good but the dust collector bag is made of very poor material and get punctured very easily.
