Ryobi Driver Drill Set

I have used Ryobi for many years on all my work sites, so recently purchased another driver drill set. I charged the batteries, and set to work with the tool the next day. I will admit, I have had no issue as yet with the 18V driver drill at this point. However, the drill bits that came with the unit are a disgrace! I used the 8mm wood bit on 50mm pine, by the third hole the bit had burnt out. I then required the 6mm wood bit, and much to my surprise it was bent before use. I then needed a 3mm pilot hole in 20mm pine, well needless to say the bit snapped after a few basic drills. I reported this to Ryobi Complaints on July 22nd, no response as yet. If I had known how pathetic the set was, I would have saved myself about R900 and purchased the driver drill alone and sought out other bits separately. Quality of product and response has dropped to a low level!?!
