RYOBI DOES IT AGAIN!!!!!
<p>My cordless drill stopped charging so i went to Ryobi and they told me to buy a new charger which i did for R200+ something and got a new one in a pack. Got home and charger didnt work so took it back and they gave me another one (loose charger, no wrapping). This didnt work either when I got home so took the whole lot back and booked it all in. I gave them my drill, charger, battery and paperwork. </p> <p>A month later still NO NEWS so i called them. O we sent you a sms i was told. ******* as I have previous sms's from them on my phone and no sms for this but thats another story.</p> <p>I am told it is going to cose me R518 for a new charger and battery. mmmmmmm But i have already paid for a new charger so do \I pay the difference? NOOOO come see our manager.</p> <p>Went in and am THEN told that no the battrey is faulty and a new one is R518.00. ok so what about my charger then? Can I get a refund. Yes but only with original paperwork (which I gave to them when I got the second charger.) so I dont have it. So basically this is now going to cost me over R800.00 to get it working. NO THANK YOU. Rather give me refund and I will buy a new one.</p> <p> </p> <p>Then I am told that the second charger i was given is not one of their chargers? this after they took it and booked it in and now this comes up??????? </p> <p>So after discussion with manager, WHO INSISTS THAT I AM WRONG AND THAT HIS SALES GUY IS 100% CORRECT, i am still waiting for them to come back to me as he said they have proof that they gave me 2 chargers in ryobi wrapping which they did not. (check your cctv cams). (I am almost lus and take that little **** for a polygraph test and insist on an appology when they find out he is lying) but so be it. Thats what one can expect from dealing with Ryobi Durban.</p> <p> </p> <p>So now i sit without a drill, battery and charger, and a sour taste in my mouth.</p> <p> </p> <p>My new motto is whenevr i see something broken on social media my comment will be .........</p> <p>O BROKEN AGAIN. MUST BE A RYOBI!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!</p>
