New drill offered for the price of a battery

My old 18v Ryobi drill's battery died and when I contacted the supplier was initially told that stock was expected in the future. When I escalated to head office via email to get an ETA, I received a reply from Chris advising that my model was discontinued and batteries weren't going to be imported any longer. He offered me a brand new drill of similar or better spec for just a little more than the cost of what the replacement battery would have been which was just over half the price of a new drill!!<br> When I got to Milnerton, it was discovered that the unit that was in stock was incomplete and Petro and her staff delivered the unit to my home this morning.<br> Fantastic client service and many thanks!
