Disgusted with RYOBI power tools

I am absolutely and totally disgusted with RYOBI and I have always held the name with highest regard and personally own a number of electrical tools which I have collected over the years but will most definitely not be doing this in the future!

Today, I have purchased RYOBI 18V Cordless Hedge Trimmer XHT-510 from Makro Crown Mines and here is my experience… • Nowhere on the box does it state that the battery is NOT included. One has to open the box to notice that there is NO battery included. Only on the small print in the “owner’s manual” (item No.9 battery pack not included) • So there I go again, back to Makro and low and behold I need to purchase one battery at a cost of R1 399.00 • And then get informed that the charger for the battery is then sold separately at a cost of R620.00

I am becoming so desponded with South Africa, if we are not getting ********** by our government, we are getting ********** by our big branded stores!
