AWFUL SERVICE FROM STEVENS&CO.

Handed in my hedge trimmer for repair. Two and a half weeks and two calls later, finally received a quotation, R350 more than the cost of a new one from Pick and Pay! Sent an e-mail questioning how this was possible, no response. Phoned 9 days later and told that the machine was unrepairable. when asked how they could quote R350 more than a new one, was told to buy from Pick and Pay! What TERRIBLE customer service!

Having complained on Hello Peter about service from Stevens&Co on my Ryobi hedge trimmer, I received a very rapid response, apologising for the delayed repair quote, explaining about their increased workload caused by generator repairs, and offering to replace my trimmer at no cost to me! Full marks to Stevens&Co for reversing a poor image, and proving that there still exists a concern for customer service. Full marks and thanks to Erick!
