Above and beyond customer service!

Its not often that I am pleasantly surprised by a HIGH level of service I received when it come to anything mechanical. I had spent more than a year and a small fortune trying to get my Ryobi petrol mower to work consistently, it seemed after every 2 mows it would have the carburettor, flushed, filter replaced and basically do a service on the machine and at no point could the repairer and service vendor isolate the root cause seeing that the mower had functioned perfectly without hassle for just under 4years. After much frustration I opted to just take it to Ryboi and hope that they will know what is wrong and fix it. I took my old madala (mower) to the Midrand service centre and was greeted with smiles, courtesy and phenomenal help. They mentioned that due to it being just before Christmas that they would only be able to look at it in the new year to which i was happy, so left the old boy there. First week of 2022 got a response to the repairs needed and accepted the quote, it was not cheap but reasonable considering the work and parts needed for a petrol engine. It was worth it considering my mower had worked hard for many years without issues. Now one would think happy days... Unfortunately not, I was contacted by one of there consultants a couple days later and was informed that due to the model and age that they could not get the parts so the repair could not be done..... BUT and here is the HUGE BUT they offered to replace my mower for the cost of the repairs, I was taken back considering the the repair cost was not a new mower cost but true to their word when I arrived to settle up they gave me a new mower - a full replacement of of my old mower JUST the NEWER model. To me this is going above and beyond when it comes to customer services. I am a huge fan of the brand and will continue purchasing and using Ryobi, not just because they WORK and WORK HARD but cause fo the exceptional service i received at their Midrand service center. Thank you for amazing staff and phenomenal service. Would give you 10 STARS but they only allow for 5
