Unhappy customer

Good day..I'm n unhappy customer, I purchased sneakers at Steve Madden for one thousand and eight hundred rands at Eastgate mall and they were only worn four times and in noticed that they were damaged 💔 and I went to report at Eastgate mall and I spoke to assistant manager who told me to lodge my complaint via email and I did as I was told and the response was that they have reviewed the order but it has been declined as i have exceeded my six months return period, I'm so 💔 heartbroken, please help .
