POOR SERVICE/REFUND

In September I bought a pair of Steve madden shoes at Edgars Century City. I went to return the shoes as the left side was not fitting comfortable. SEDIK the guy who attended my complaint took the shoes advised me that he will refer the matter to the Supervisor who was not available, and will give me a call the following day with the feedback. I left my contact details with him.

A week later I decided to call the store because it was clear they were not planning to call me. I spoke to SEDIK who could not give a proper answer instead he asked for my details again because the supervisor SHARRENE was not available. I said to him I will not give him my contacts again I will come to the store, asked him what time the supervisor finishes work, he said he don’t know. Later that evening I went to the store, the same guy SE**** told me that the supervisor is not available, I asked him what did she say when you told her that I called, she said nothing . I started voicing my frustration to him, he laughed, I asked him why he was laughing, he said because it’s a joke to him because he is not the supervisor and can’t help me. He said he gave the supervisor my contact details and he don’t know whether she called me or not and what happens after that is not his problem. Apparently when I called earlier the Manager was there and said nothing. It is the Manager who asked him to get my details again.

SE**** don’t have clue about customer service he is ***********; I have never seen such arrogance in my life. I cannot believe such an expensive brand is associated with idiots who know nothing about customer service. Someone who was supposed to help me was busy laughing while voicing my frustration.

Basically nothing was done after I left the store. I was just wasting my time. I spent R800 on that shoe, which is a lot of money. I want my money and I never want anything to do with Steve Madden can’t deal with such arrogance, it’s very frustrating. I will refer the matter to the Consumer ombudsman.
