INFERIOR PRODUCTS. PATHETIC CUSTOMER SERVICE

I received a wallet / purse set as a gift last year and after a few months started to use it. It now looks hideous as its both starting to peel. The BIGGEST JOKE about the situation is i emailed Steve Madden with pics, the only thing they are bothered about it me getting a receipt. Does the poor quality products not matter???? I myself purchase from Steve Madden... So now i really have to wonder, DO I THROW THESE GIFT ITEMS AWAY??? ARE THEY ONLY MEANT TO LAST 2 TO 3 MONTHS BEFORE YOUR MONEY GOES DOWN THE DRAIN FOR INFERIOR PRODUCTS
