Steve Biko hospital

I am a patient of Steve Biko hospital. I had a hip replacement in 2021 in Morningside clinic. My prostesis is comming loose now. My medical aid liquidated that's why I have to go to the provincial hospital. I was seen in the orthopedic out patients department four times. They admitted me last year for an aspiration of the hip to make sure that there is no inflammation before they do the surgery. That specimen went missing and I went to the orthopedic surgeon who did the replacement to do the aspiration again and send it to Ampath laboratory. I went back to the OOPD and the Dr made me an appointment to go to the orthopedic ward to be admitted for surgery. I went there twice they admitted me only to be send back home after 4 days and been told there is no doctors, theatres and staff. There after sir they made me another appointment to the ward only to be send back seven times. The eighth time was the 22nd August. The Dr saw me in the ward consultation room and told me I must come back the 2nd of September. I went to Sr Knoetse's office from there who is the client service manager and she referred me to Sr Sepere who saw me just there and then. She said to me must phone her the 2nd of September when I'm in the ward waiting. I did just that she said she's on her way. I reminded her again after an hour and the lady who answered the phone said she's in a meeting. In the meantime the Dr in the ward saw me and said he will phone me in two weeks time for a mission. Up to this date sir nobody phoned me. I contacted Sr Sepere sê eral times and again on the 23rd of September only to be told she is in the bathroom or in a meeting. I contacted her again the on Monday the 30th of September and could speak to her she took my info and hospital nr and said she will speak to the doctors and phone me back. Today is the 3rd of October and no phone call as yet Mr Steenhuizen I'm not reporting any body or complaining but I'm begging for help. The other very big problem that I've got is the people where we're renting gave us notice so we are moving to Parys. Then I have to start all over again looking for doctors and hospitals. I am in severe pain drinking pain tablets every 5 hours. Every time that I've got an appointment in the ward I must take my 88 year old mother who has COPD and CCF, who Im looking after, to Zeerust to my brother's place to be attended to. I'm sorry to waste your time sir with this email but I'm desperate now and begging for help please I don't know what to do or where to go to for help. I phoned the department of health to find out when they will phone me back the lady (Busi) in the first place did not understand a word and I had to repeat some 4 times and d couldn't find any record of the previous case nr nor on my ID nr. The she dropped the phone and I phoned back to get another case nr. I phoned minister Motsoaledi's office also and told the I sent an email the 23rd of October and the guy asked me what do I think that the minister will answer emails. Thanks very much for your time.
