Porter Manager failed us
Here's a possible complaint letter:
*Complaint about Staff and Services at Steve Biko Hospital*
Dear Hospital Management,
I am writing to express my disappointment and concern about the subpar services I experienced during my recent visit to Steve Biko Hospital. Unfortunately, the hospital fell short of my expectations in several areas.
*Lack of Water in Wards:*
One of the most pressing issues was the absence of water in the wards. As a patient, I required basic amenities to maintain my hygiene and comfort. The unavailability of water compromised my care and well-being.
*Porter Services:*
The porter services were woefully inadequate. When I needed assistance with a wheelchair, the porters refused to help, leaving me to struggle on my own. This lack of support was distressing, especially considering the hospital's duty to care for sick patients.
*Disrespectful Behavior by Porter Manager:*
The situation worsened when I spoke with Mrs. Maria, the Porter Manager. Instead of offering assistance or apologizing for the inconvenience, she spoke to me in a dismissive and disrespectful manner. As a patient, I expected compassion and understanding, not rudeness.
*Request for Improvement:*
I urge the hospital management to address these issues urgently. Patients deserve better care and respect. I request that you:
1. Ensure a reliable water supply in the wards. 2. Train porters to provide adequate support to patients. 3. Address the behavior of Mrs. Maria and ensure that staff treat patients with respect. I personally believe hospital staff should be trained to be helpful .
