*********** staff that cant locate your money once you've settled!! Ref ***8
I've been dealing with Sterling for the past year and have never given them any problems when paying my debt. My account was handled by Grace Manuel and she would call me every time a payment has not reflected on their side. When I tried to get in contact with Grace to settle my account, I was told that she does not take incoming calls from client's. As understanding as I am, I went on to speak to a Rude consultant name Khensani Shikwambane who sent me a fees letter that shows the amount I have to pay in order to settle and close my account. Later when I wanted to confirm the details on the letter, Khethile Mlambo confirmed that the letter sent to me by Khensani had the incorrect banking details. Khethile than sent me the correct banking details (assuming they were correct) where I made payments on the 25/04/2016. I faxed the proof to Khethile and got a call from her confirming she has received my fax. On the 29/04/2016, Grace called me twice confirming she has received my POP and will get back to me before the end of business day. Till today, I have not received a call or an email from both parties updating me on the progress of my account. I tried calling Grace and Khethile but both were unavailable. Now a Stop order went to sterling and when I tried to be refunded, I was told that only recoveries can refund me. I spoke to a consultant at Sterling and he confirmed that my settlement amount and my Stop order have not reflected, when asked how long it took to reflect, he said TWO days. I have been waiting for FIVE days now!! I want my R1000.00 refunded and my paid up letter sent to me before end of business Tomorrow!! Standard bank should just remove you guys from collecting on their behalf because your services are not in line with their great customer care.
