The joke is on me
This feels like a cruel joke, and I’m the one being played. Laurence Friedman was polished and professional when he took my valuable items, but he simply vanished after they were sold. Now, he only responds to say he’ll pay me interest on the overdue amount. Even more disturbing is that when I call their company number, "Genesis Structuring and Finance" shows up on my phone. It makes me wonder what’s happening to all the auction money if it’s not going to the sellers. This entire ordeal leaves me feeling deeply sad and regretful, as if I’ve been misled and betrayed by those I trusted to act with integrity.

Please accept our apologies for the unusual delay in payment.
We have never not paid a client, and if we pay late, we ensure the seller receives interest for the delay.
We sold several of your items and as previously communicated the one large item has not been paid for.
We have sent the buyer a letter of demand to make payment, failing which in this case we will buy this item in to keep it simple and pay you out accordingly.
We have also been in constant communications with our service provider to understand why the “Genesis message” comes up on our phone and are dealing with this is the most serious manner as it makes no sense and has no grounding whatsoever.
Please bear with us a few more days until this is sorted out
