STEPHAN WELZ AND CO - *****STERS
This company sold property of mine on auction in June 2024, for around R400k. Promised payment in August, then promised payment in September. As of 2 January 2025 no payment despite a letter of demand from my attorneys, served by the sheriff. My attorney will start proceedings to have Stephan Welz & Co liquidated this month as they are unable to pay their debts.

Your payment was made today for the full amount due including interest from the due date.
It is no secret that we have had a rough patch due to ever increasing overheads and a more competitive market and mistakes over the past two years.
The direct effect of that was to restructure our sales and our offerings, move both our Johannesburg and Cape Town showrooms to larger more affordable spaces with lower costs and employ a new experienced eager team who are ready to embrace the future with positive energy and enthusiasm.
We stand 100 percent behind our brand and have NEVER NOT paid a client, and we are projected to make a respectable profit for the financial year ended FEBUARY 2025.
We are most grateful to our loyal clients and friends who have trusted us over the last 12 months and our auction pipeline is packed with wonderful inventory sourced locally and all over the world with exceptionally low reserves, undisputed provenance, and quality to be excited about!
