Step Building Supplies - Avoid them at all costs.
Order placed on the 12th of April 2022, sent emails got automated response. Phoned them no answer. Eventually got through to someone who gave me exuses after excuse and they didnt have stock of the item. I say to the guy and we agree on a refund and to cancel the order. 9th of May I receive an email with courier tracking details. This place is a joke. Spare yourself the misery of fealing with them online.

23 May 2022, 13:47It is unfortunate that simple information like an order number if one seeks to hide their true identity is still not provided. Now having pulled orders of the 10 - 16 April as a way to trace this dissatisfaction I cannot place this to any order that was cancelled without any client engagement. Records of orders cancelled in this period shows e-mails and updates with clients.
Furthermore in this period there was as strike experienced from one of our primary supplier and hence delays not excuses as "Micheal D" claims. All affected clients were notified - some choose to cancel orders, some received partial fulfilments allowing alternative sourcing and others were happy to simply wait. More than 95% of these orders where fulfilled and clients were alerted each step of the way.
Since each case had it's own merit - it will be best for "Micheal D" to give us the ORDER NUMBER in question so that our response can be succinct to the order and not generic response.
Without such it is in bad faith and an unfair comment made against STEP BUILDING SUPPLIES.

Fix your conpany because there was only talk about a strike when I eventually got hold of ***** an we confirmed that I would rather cancel than receive an incomplete order. He ignored that and sent half the order anyway. On the 19th of May ***** finally confirmed that I would receive a refund via email. YET no refund yet. Keep your attitude to yourself. And get your business in order. Don't try and start something with me. Just apologise and do your work. You will probably have better customer relationships. Have a very good day. PS.
