I entrusted The Steering Centre Boksburg with my sister's BMW X3 for a steering rack repair, relying on their MIWA 5-star accreditation. This was the worst mistake I could have made. The Problems: Dangerous Workmanship: Upon collection, my sister immediately reported horrific noises. My inspection revealed BOTH FRONT WHEELS WERE LOOSE. Every single wheel nut was undertightened, with a visible gap between the wheel and hub. This is not a minor oversight—it is gross negligence that could have caused a fatal accident. Shoddy Repairs: The under-body trays were reinstalled in the wrong order and crudely secured with cable ties. A critical bolt was missing. His response is a masterclass in evasion. The Verdict: This workshop does not deserve a single star, let alone a 5-star MIWA rating. They transformed a steering repair into a near-death experience through sheer incompetence and a refusal to adhere to basic safety standards. They endangered my sister's life and then **** about it. DO NOT RISK YOUR VEHICLE OR YOUR SAFETY HERE. The MIWA accreditation displayed in their workshop is, based on this experience, utterly meaningless. I am pursuing formal complaints with the National Consumer Commission and MIWA itself.
