If I could give the Steer & Co Property Group people and this business a zero, I would. Please do not rent or deal with them, they lie, cheat and *****. Jodi John, Mellissa Cullan and Kim Koff are the dream team in ensuring that you have the worst experience as a tenant.

Here's why not to rent with them:

1. You will not get your deposit back, they will drag the process of finding a new tenant and they will put a tenant in but still charge you for the month's rent, thus earning a double income. 2. They lie. They told me that they had a tenant, not knowing that I knew that they didn't have one because they planned on using the month to renovate the apartment. But actually I don't know what the facts are because these are different stories from different people in the company. 3. DO NOT take Jodi John's calls as they will be the complete opposite of what she says in email. 4. I vacated the property a month before they planned on moving in a tenant and granted access for viewings even though I had to study for exams and pack for my relocation. They did not even attend to facilitate. Viewers had questions that I could not answer. 5. They don't respond to calls or emails from interested tenants. So really there is proof that they drag it out to increase the current tenant's liability - Nabeelah Adams doesn't respond to calls/emails as verified by myself and other potential tenants. 6. ******** increases. They increased my rent to R5940 (all they ever do is come sweep the passages once every 4 months - I did not protest. When they posted an advert for the place it was advertised as R5800...like what the actual F*** 7. You tell them about issues in the flat and they don't send a maintenance person out. They do the bare minimum to fix issues. 8. Their properties are in the K*Kest conditions when you get them. They are too cheap to maintain them. They literally painted the bath and tiles which were rusty instead of painting them. They also state that their run down properties are in "old, but good" states when you move in. It is in a K*K state, rather say that. When you move out their description is "fair" state.
