Landlords abusing tenants by refusing to maintain apartments

On the 18 of August 2017 I returned to my apartment in Mowbray, Cape Town to find out once again the main electricity box, servicing the entire apartment is not working. This is severe as all gates to the apartment only work of this electricity box. To my surprise one of our neighbours and her infant daughter claimed to have been trapped outside from 16:00. This was appalling to me as it was 18:30 when i arrived home. The service from these landlords has been putrid. Constant phone calls and emails have either not been responded to or have been met with by rude responses. This is atrocious behaviour.As a result my apartment has been subjected to multiple attempted ******ies The fact that the complex is never maintained despite our tenant agreement is a breach of contract. This negligence needs to be taken up immediately. We are no longer in a safe environment because of their stupidity. I expect quality service for the insane amount of rent expended on this apartment and not this level of ineptitude.
