STBB exploiting buyers, unprofessional communications.
First of all, although usually it is the buyer who pays for transfer/bond fees, they deal with the selling developers/banks and decide the price and set the buyer of the property up to pay the price the attorneys decide with no choice for they buyer to get competitive prices. That's anticompetitive behavior is already a trend with transferring attorneys that's bad enough.
Now the specific issue I have is that they gave me a specific price and I told them that because it's very big, I could only pay it in two installments (about 3 weeks apart). Instead of them trying to accommodate in a professional way, different individuals were calling me from STBB, all acting as if they didn't hear anything I said and demanding that I pay everything immediately. If they were honest, that's already bad because STBB employees dealing with the same client should communicate amongst each other. If not, that's also bad because it's a dishonest behavior. One of the guys even called and raised his voice so loud that I decided to hung up. From the overall communication attitudes, I felt as if I'm being bul**** by them. What happened to treating clients with respect?
