Paternoster stay

Although the actual self catering holiday house (Albatros) was great and well equipped, the service received from the office staff at Stay in Paternoster was less accommodating. They insisted that I check in during office hours (before 16h00 as they go home at 17h00) and had no contingency plan to accommodate late check in. They were more concerned to leave work on time than making sure their guests was taken care of. They had an attitude of "that is the way it is, take it or leave it" We travelled 1460km to get there and had to rush to make the 17h00 closing of offices time. They were very unhelpful in this regard. Then to top it all, 4 days after we checked out I receive a phone call from Jennifer at their offices, telling me that the bedding in the main bedroom was left so soiled that they had to send it to the laundry to clean at a cost of R300 that they will deduct from my R1000 key deposit. And I know I left the place and linen clean! But to be contacted 4 days after check out and be presented with photos of bedding that is on a floor that has clearly not been taken in the unit we accommodated, is very unprofessional. It could have been taken from any unit! Leaves one with a very negative experience.
