Poor Workmanship and Breach of Contract

I have recently had a project performed by Status Projects West (Westbuild) by the owner Kobus Knell, where upon placing the second to last progress payment, all progress on the project had ground to a halt, and the attitude of this contractor completely reversed. Quality of workmanship was very poor along with a number of methods employed for cost cutting. Eventually after a long fight, Kobus Knell reported that he is withdrawing from the project before completion leaving majority of items incomplete due interference on site that his own sub-contractors and administration staff executed due to the inability to pay workers, the pure lack of supervision and management from the company owner. The company **** numerous times about the status of events and thus held myself unfairly responsible for the mess created. I have since spent and lost an enormous amount of money fixing their shocking quality of work. My advice for any potential customer of Status Projects West reading this, is prepare to take a large risk when doing business with these people and Kobus Knell. Your money is almost guaranteed to be ******, with no intention from Status Projects to rectify the issue.
