RENTAL PROPERTY IN SHAMBLES

On 1 May i moved in to Glen Erin Lodge, it was a difficult move as the previous tenants were still trying to move out and I also had to clean the unit myself as the caretaker and his boys were busy. Did i mention that two taps were leaking when I moved in? Still, I let all of this go. Now before i moved in I specifically told Danielle in an email and Yussuf on the phone that the stove will definitely have to be fixed as I will not move in if it was not fixed. Only two plates work, the oven does not work and it was filthy and all of this when I moved in was still not fixed. The burglar gate was eventually fixed on Saturday afternoon after I had to send numerous emails requesting this! Now this morning Marianne told me in an email that it is not the owners responsibility to fix the STOVE! SO they want ME to fix or BUY a new stove? I do not own the property and I CANNOT be expected to buy or fix a stove I DID NOT BREAK! Do not rent property from Status Mark they will promise to fix everything and once you Move in duck and dive and come up with excuses as to why they won't do something. I will move out and they better give me my money!
