Another ***** painting seller?

I bought a painting in 2011 from Status Auctioneers. I took the painting in 2015 to Stephan Welz Auctioneers for an evaluation. They said that they think the painting is not an original and I must contact the auctioneers from which I bought it. I visited Status Auctioneers in May this year and met with Mr Adnan Lodhi who sold the painting to me. I asked him for proof of authenticity, which he promised to supply.

Since then I sent him three emails requesting the proof of authenticity. He failed to answer any of my emails.

Unless Mr Lodhi proves the authenticity of the painting, I question the legitimacy of his business selling "authenticate South African masters" and would advise others to think twice before conduction business with Status Auctioneers or Mr Adnan Lodhi.
