Rude. Unhelpful. The list goes on with Stats Properties. Don't ever sign yourself into anything with these people! I explained the circumstances of abuse to Stats Properties after this ex partner wanted the lease move into my name alone, when I finally had the courage to get him out of the house when the abuse became too much. EVERYTHING WAS TO STAY EXACTLY THE SAME, EXCEPT ONLY MY NAME IS TO REFLECT ON THE LEASE! I have proof of where the whole rental amount is paid each and every month from my account. The full inspect fee, application fee, first month's rent and deposit all came from my account. But no, Stats Properties would still DEMAND R1322. 22 from a single mother with a single income, simply to change the lease from joint to sole.
