Unclear quoting process

We used Staroar Logistics on 31 October 2020.

I was originally quoted R1500. About 20% through the move I was informed that because this apartment is not on ground floor it will be an extra R1600. I get that number of floors would influence cost, but this was not clear in the quoting process (as a first-time mover, nowhere did any system on their site or emails guide me into disclosing that sort of information). Naturally I pushed back on this price increase and as result the guys threatened to offload my belongings next to the road. I ended up paying the full R3100, but can't say that I'm a happy customer. The guys were also fairly rough with our couches and it felt like we constantly needed to keep an eye. Boxes were placed upside down in our new place (I'd expect a reputable moving company to keep orientation of a box the same as how they found it).
