Mark is a *****/******* and staroar is a bogus

I rated 1 star only because the system won’t let me proceed without rating otherwise this company doesn’t deserve any rating at all. Mark is a *******, please anyone needing transportation services don’t be lured and fooled by their cheap quote, make sure you scrutinise your quotation and keep track of any communication with him and his team of ******… But me I showed him flames I busted him before he could milk me of any more money.. Long story short, I requested quotation with clear a list of inventory of my daughter’s small flatlet including a vehicle for transportation from Cape Town to Jhb. There were like 8 boxes, fridge,microwave, gas heater, small 40 inch flat screen tv plus ironing board( but that was referred to as household move) First he sent a quote just indicating household move, not inclusive of the car. I demanded a clear itemised quote… well he pretended to not understand until I made him send a proper one for R8499…I paid 4350 deposit…he promised a truck will pick up the car and goods on the 14th December at 11:30…travelled to Cape Town on 8th Dec and notified him of my arrival. He promised that all is in order..He demanded payment of balance by 13th day before the agreed pick up.I paid the other R4350 on 11th and sent him POP on 12th, that’s when the drama and strories began, claiming petrol and diesel prices have gone up and he’s outsourcing a truck so they charge more therefore there’ll be an additional charge for me🙀🙀🙀which I chose to ignore and kept seeking assurance that goods will be picked up as agreed. On the morning of the 14th, I emailed him checking progress and he assured me we are good for 11:30… And then come 11:30, he ghosted me , not picking my calls, referred me to a total stranger called Promise who was totally blank regarding our arrangements…stranger who was telling me when and how he’ll move my goods… unfortunately I had a flight to catch back to Jhb so the long and short is that eventually i left Cape Town without my money, car and goods… But I told him I’m gonna expose him as now I had to be at his mercy to get my things back… Daily arguments and threats that I won’t get my goods if I don’t pay extra 5k… fast forward on 29th Dec we got a call from some constable Mphaka that the car is parked at some ***** place in Braamfontein…. The goods came on the 3rd January but I refused to pay him and his ***** friends… I called the Police on them… This company must be closed ASAP, they mainly target women, demanding last minute additional charges for **** service MARK is a *****, stay away from staroar logistics… it’s a bogus company… Mark doesn’t own any trucks or Vans… he’s just a sh*t middle man
