Unprofessional, Unfinished work, Lack of Responsiveness

DO NOT use Stark Kitchens. Please use a longstanding ,reputable and professional company instead. The sales guy Michael did a perfect sales pitch to get the project, but once the deposit was paid, the attitude changed. It was as though Stark Kitchens were paying me to do my kitchen. Michael only met when it suited him on his terms. Calls were taken only when convenient to him. Oh, and is there an owner called John? We have never met, nor heard from him. (I bet he may pop up now after this review!) They forgot to include the microwave into the design, and the solution given was to mount it on the wall, which would have stood out oddly! Michael gave the design to his wife to look at, and she liked it. Really!! Surely the design has to be analysed ,reviewed, and signed off by an expert team in the company.

The quartz stone fitted on the counters were such poor quality, that the stone stained from a regular tea cup rim. Again, we (the client) had to follow up with Stark kitchens, with numerous calls. We eventually went twice to the supplier (Eezi quartz)in Kyalami, Memories corner) directly, and with them receiving instructions from Stark Kitchens, again, to-date, nobody has come to rectify.

Sure, a kitchen was installed, but the snag list is as long. I had asked Michael to have a look at the 'snags'. Again, he only came to have a look at our kitchen on his terms. When I showed him the glue residue on the cupboards, he said that they do not do spring cleaning!!! I was totally gobsmacked by the patronizing and disrespectful attitude to us in our home.

I was asked to emaiI a snag list, which I did accordingly on the 13th of December 2021, and received no response. Sure enough, I had to follow up, and was told that it would be seen to in the new year (which was supposed to be Jan 2022). Yet again, to-date I have heard nothing.

Ours was a very large kitchen and a huge investment. In hindsight, I would have gone with a reputable company with valid testimonials.
