Sells Broken Vehicles and do not live up to there promises

<p>We bought a 4x4 from this company to go on holiday to Namibia, the guy assured us the vehicle was in good running condition as we explained to him that we are buying it to go on holliday and do not want to be stranded with the whole family next to the road.</p> <p>We received the vehicle and immidiately there was problems, we phoned him and he said we could fix it and he will re-emburse us, we were not re-embersed. Anyway, thinking the problem was fixed we went on holiday but as soon as we went through the border post our worst holiday ever started, the vehicle was overheating and we were in the middle of nowhere, we could not get hold of the dealership and had to travel almost 2000km to our destination traveling not more than 80km/h for 100km at a time. When we reached our destination my husband got some tools and tried to inspect and see what was wrong and there was a long list. He tried fixing what he could with no spare parts availeble as there were no places open during the holliday season and getting parts ordered would take longer than we were there. Traveling short distance were no problem so we could get by there but upon returning we had the same ordeal and this time the aircon pump broke off and we had to travel through the hot Botswana with a vehicle overheating and no airconditioner. </p> <p> </p> <p>Back in SA we tried contacting them again but nothing and the 6th of January when most businesses opened we got hold of them, weeks after they came and fetched the vehicle... after a couple of weeks they brought it back and told us it is now fixed, it was smoking and still not right, we phoned them and they said to drive it like that and just get someone to set the pump timing or something like that, my husband would know... but still it just became worse and worse, until one day I was driving the vehicle and the engine just ran away with me, I was stranded woman and kids alone next to the road.</p> <p> </p> <p>My husband and friends came and we towed the vehicle back to our workplace, we phoned the dealer and reported this to him. And the vehicle has been standing for months now, whe have repoted all this from the start to the bank were we bought the vehicle and to the dealer. We also use this vehicle for work and we are now loosig valuable income due to not being able to use teh vehicle which we are forced to pay monthly.</p> <p> </p> <p>What are we supposed to do , they just ignore our calls and nothing is being done. If we stop paying we get a bad name. What should we do, who can we contact, its been almost a year now....</p>
