Weak Coffee at Starbucks

Went to starbucks castle gate, Ordered a mocha frappe , dopio espresso , 2 x macon and cheese toasties , 2 x cheese twists , 2 x cinna buns, 40 nespresso pods . Bill Total R780 . left a R80 tip for counter service.

it was a takeaway so didnt get to complain on site . Firstly the coffee is okay , its nothing premium . The dopio espresso apart from the cute cup its served in is average . If you want a master class on how an espresso is served please visit the original grand cafe Tashas in brooklyn . If you want to taste a better mocha frappe visit any McCafe (yes Mcdonalds) . The toasties were poorly toasted , toasted on one side only and the cheese wasnt even melted , this is poor . The cheese twists were very good and as for the cinna buns these were never recieved , lolz . The nespresso Starbucks espresso roast pods , these are good but not better than the original Nespresso Arpeggio Arabica pods which are cheaper and superior.

Just like all American products , its 90% influencer marketing and 10% value for money. I feel violated , like i have been ****** at gun point. Should I even drive back to the store to collect my cinna buns ? forget it , its is not worth the petrol.

You are paying premium prices for below average products , u can get better value at any local coffee shop in south africa ,world class food and coffee for a similar price point . 5 star service and silverware too , instead of counter service and paper cups and a half way toasted sandwich. Lolz *** ? Like your dark espresso roast , your service is very weak. Unfortunately i wont buy into this BS concept in future.
