Starbucks Barista went out to burn customer with hot coffee

Good afternoon,

I am a regular customer at Starbucks, Castle Gate, Tshwane with excellent service. I was surprised today, 08 Nov 2023, @1205 when I ordered a Cafe Late Venti and ask that they made it slightly hotter. The lady said ok hotter and drinkable, which I said Yes. No issues.

When the Cafe late came it was cold and I ask her to make it hotter as I ordered. She suddenly start arguing with me that is what I ordered. I was shocked and ask to slightly heat it up. The barista then made it super hot 🔥 to spite me that I could not carry it. I burned my mouth when I drink it in the car.

They clearly do not understand customer service. 😒 The Barista purposefully went out to burn me with the coffee.

She should not have defend it and start an argument and a barista should not get involved. Lucky there was not any damage to my mouth only sensitivity. I just ordered coffee ☕️ after my taste but the service today was definitely not the standard I know of Starbucks. I hope management take it up retrain the staff in manners and customer service.
