Shaken by the price of less than average milkshakes

My wife and I recently visited Starbucks Cafe in Sun City for a milkshake on a hot afternoon. Our order arrived after a reasonable wait but the glasses were served without either saucers or long-handled s****s, which I have always considered were standard fare that should accompany a milkshake. As we picked up the glasses to take our first sips, our milkshakes bubbled over and made quite a sticky mess on the table. The waitress brought some paper serviettes to mop up the spillage. We proceeded to drink our beverages but were unable to gain access to the thick topping which had not dissolved. The waitress finally brought us s****s, while assuring us that this thick liquid was, indeed, fresh cream! I had my doubts but we pressed on and asked for the bill as soon as we were finished. I was shocked to see that we were charged R150 for our two drinks, Overall, I would rate the service and the drinks no more than about 2 or 3 out of 10. The lesson we should have learned in our younger years was to ALWAYS ask the price before ordering anything. We'll know for next time not to patronise Starbucks again.
