Dishonesty behind the counter

<p>I visited Starbucks Rosebank on Friday around 10pm with a few friends. At the counter looking to purchase a small cup of coffee.</p> <p>This is what happened:</p> <p>- The guy behind the counter insisted that he could not offer me a small cup at R18 but only a larger cup at R24.</p> <p>What is the logic behind this? He then gave me a small cup of coffee but charged at the higher price.</p> <p>- I also bought a chocolate for R10 which is clearly marked as such, and he charges me R16 making an excuse that he thought I purchased something else.</p> <p> </p> <p>He clearly knew what he was doing, trying to short change customers and pocket the money. As the till was closed he took the overcharge amount from the tips box! (No doubt that is where my overcharge was going with his scheming ways.)</p> <p> </p> <p>A very distasteful americano experience. Will visit you guys in a year or so.</p>
