Matric results not changed
I'm very disappointed with the school matric rewrite results for 2020. I enrolled My daughter at star School to upgrade her matric hoping she will pass. When the result came back nothing has changed on the statement.and also other students have the same problem nothing has changed. When I try to find from them they said the is nothing that they can do they are not the one who are marking the papers. What a waste of time and money to send my daughter to this school.

26 Jun 2021, 14:33 Good day Beauty Star Schools provides quality instruction and resources to enable students to prepare for the end of the year exams from experienced educators who go the extra mile daily sharing their knowledge & expertise. When learners register with Star Schools they are made aware that this is a part time institution and that in order to improve their results it is imperative to work through past exam papers at home in addition to the tuition received at school. Learners have more time and flexibility with Star Schools as they do not attend school daily and are not limited by a rigid timetable. The onus is on the learner to take responsibility for their studies and put in the extra work necessary. Many of our learners have shown a major improvement in their results at Star Schools taking our pass rate from 81% in 2019 to 85% in 2020 despite the challenges experienced last year. Not only did the learner pass rates increase but our subject averages displayed a considerable improvement compared to their entry results. Learners recorded an 8% improvement in Mathematics along with a 6.5% improvement in Physical Sciences and a 5.4% improvement in English compared to the marks they entered the programme with at the beginning of 2020.
