Hello Peter, I'm Sae

Hello Peter, I'm Sae. STARS SCHOOLS FOR ****** SCHOOLS (Braamfontein campus) The management of that school only care about money but less about people who are paying their salaries (learner's parents or guardians) . The learner's were supposed to start classes on 1st April but they school delayed and send messages saying that they are sorting things out and classes started towards end of April 2021 and they promised to make up for the lost time. My niece registered for 4 subjects and attend 1 subject once a week for 2 hours. And during school closure (due to covid-19) they don't teach them online but they promise to do so. I'm talking about students who need help because their matric results were low, so how are they going to improve their results? I paid fees in full but so far I don't know what I paid for, my niece is staying at home struggling no one from that school is doing nothing. I regret sending my niece to that disgrace school. The only time they call us is to check if we paid school fees. *** ***

As communicated to all learners and parents at the beginning of the year, the delay in the commencement of the Rewrite programme this year was because of the late release of matric results that led to an extended registration period. Star Schools is a part time institution and doesn’t operate like that of a mainstream school therefore timetables are structured differently throughout the year which translates into learners receiving tuition from April to October through a two-week rotation. A student portal has also been launched where all our lessons are uploaded, and learners can access these lessons with their unique passwords. Lessons are uploaded within 24-48 hours along with handouts and teachers also have support groups created via WhatsApp. We have placed the necessary measures in place to catch up on missed classes because of the lockdown and revised year plans will be sent out shortly. You are welcome to contact the campus manager should you wish to discuss this further. Thank you
