Competition To **** or not to ****
I have no Idea how this NPO operates, They quick to get you to enter your baby in their Star kids competition. They quick to accept money and payments via SMS. They quick to remind you that you need more votes to climb up the ranking. They do not post how many votes have been cast. I can only imagine that the kid they select wins regardless of votes. This is a direct affiliation to star light media

We are deeply sorry to hear that you are unhappy with the experience you have had with our StarBaby competition we do not currently run a Star Kid competition. Firstly, we would like to confirm that we (Starlight Media (Pty) Ltd) are not a Non Profit Organisation, but a business that chooses to give 50% of its profit - generated through voting competitions - to charity every month. To date we have donated R1,028,496.00 to charities that can be found on our website and who will all vouch for our credibility. We would also like to assure you that our competition rules were drawn up and approved by Michalson's, a leading legal firm specializing in this area. We are also fully POPI compliant and a partner with respected retailer Babies R Us. Our winners are fairly chosen, either by being those with the most votes, or as the charity's favourites. We certainly have no vested interest in who wins. What's more, surveys show that many moms select our voting competition above others because of our generous and transparent donations to charity, meaning that even though they know there is a good chance they won't win, much of their contribution goes to a good cause and they get to spread a little love while having some fun. Finally, unlike other competitions, we award 7 prizes every month, with prize values totaling R40,000. To date we have awarded R1,440,000 in prizes to our winners. I do hope we have provided some clarity on our business and our mission and remind you that entry into our competition is completely voluntary and even if you have only 20 votes, you stand in line to win a prize!
