Expensive and poor service

I took my vehicle to Stanmar Motors in George to have two new tyres fitted and the wheel alignment checked. One tyre was my unused spare wheel, and the other was to have been supp**** by Stanmar. <br> 1. It took them nearly four hours to complete the work.<br> 2. When I received the vehicle it pulled to the left so badly that it was dangerous to drive.<br> 3. After taking the vehicle back to them on the same day, and without first checking the wheel alignment, they said that the left pull was caused by my spare wheel. They suggested I purchase another new tyre from them. It did not help and by 19h00 the evening I could not wait any longer and accepted the car. The service consultant agreed that I should take the car to my dealer in Midrand and that Stanmar will pay for any additional work to rectify the problem.<br> 4. The wheel alignment was corrected by the dealer in Midrand and I submitted the invoice to Stanmar for a refund. They then decided not to pay, because the changes made by the Midrand garage was, in their opinion, not significant enough.<br> 5. When I compared tyre prices I found that Sanmar is nearly 40% more expensive than a local Johannesburg dealer for the same tyre.<br> SHOCKING
