Policy dispute

Having a bad experience with the company, i have 10 full months with the policy company(Legasi Life (Pty) LTD) just find out after i claim that i have 3 unpaid premiums and i was told its no problem they will deduct the premiums from the claim and i should expect the money on my account within 48 hours, 3 days later no money in my account and i asked them what's the hold up and they told me the unpaid premiums are the problem, i must pay for 6 consecutive months for my policy to be active, but i already have 7 fully paid months with them. I feel like I've been ****med here.
