Why do I pay insurance?

<p>Does anybody have a successful insurance claim with Standard Bank? I've needed to claim twice now....and it's just dead end after dead end. What the heck am I paying for month after month after month? 62/049211 is my claim number. I'm told tough luck, we won't fix/repair your garage door motor. because it's a 'natural' occurrence? What the actual diggins does that mean? So if it breaks because I kick it, lightening strikes it,...whatever...what is the point of having the insurance??? What the heck is a 'natural' death for a garage door motor? If it's broken, it's broken surely?<br /><br />And we've been following up for over 2 weeks....and this is the reply we get. NO response from you guys! </p> <p>I am moving to my own insurers...this is absolute and total BS! </p>
