VIOLATION OF POPI ACT
Unauthorized sharing of personal information with unauthorized personnel. Violation of POPI.
Standard bank called an unauthorized number and shared personal information regarding my home loan including term and amount without my consent.
I emailed Standard Bank and informed them about this violation. However they have continued. Even today, they called the unauthorized number, even after being instructed not to do so.
