Very unhappy Standard Bank customer

Standard Bank Home insurance has totally disappointed me pertaining my Roofclaim.My family and I have just recently moved in our new house And now living in our new house, I checked and observed that my roof does not have waterproofing to prevent the heavy rain from damaging roof and ceiling that will cost thousands of rands to replace. Now who goes into the roof before purchasing a home to see if everything is OK in the soon to be purchase house! Nobody does but to my surprise, no waterproofing available. I was given a long story of it is a Wear and tear issue and that Standard home Insurrance does not cove when there is no waterproofing.

I am seriously thinking to move to another Insurrance or totally move another Banking Institution. I am totally frustrated.... And I will advise everyone to read your Home policy carefully especially Standard Bank's Policies. You will get a Big Suprise.

Going forward I will let all my contacts and friends know that Standard Bank will not meet you even halfway when your in dire need.
