Vehicle claim delaying and no communication

I lodged a claim for an accident on the 01st of Jan and another on the 5th of January. Standard Bank booked my car in for assessment on Monday the 08th and since then no one has communicated. I had to follow up on the 16th and the only information that I could get was that they're still trying to get ahold of the third party. After I threw a fit an assessor phoned me later in the day and promised to call before the day ends and that never happened. I am driving around with a car that's in bad shape and Standard Bank doesn't seem to care. What is the point of paying insurance premiums when one is being given the run around and being treated badly.
