Urgent assistance required
I need your urgent intervention because we are grieving and to hear that my fathers funeral cover that he had for year has been canceled is concerning. Next week is his funeral today we went to claim and we are told his policy is inactive while he had it for years, and he never canceled it. The lady who was assisting on the phone said it stopped deducting in July or so and I don't know why because another policy that he has for my brother is deducting.

03 Jan 2025, 16:48Thank you for that, I need to know why it was not deducting and why they decided to change the deduction date cause I saw that on a policy he has for my brother. It was suppose to deduct after SASSA pension but I see it was deducted on the 31st. He went in the branch before because he was concerned that it deducts incorrectly and they said it is the system and they fix it and they assured him that the policy is in order, we are now concerned to see that the policy is inactive and we need it resolved urgently because the funeral is next week and as you will see it was never canceled and he had the policy for years.

16 Jan 2025, 17:24I have been attended by a specialist regarding my father's insurance and the questions that I have are not addressed. He said the messages of them not getting premiums were sent to my father, and I asked why they didn't get premiums for my father's policy while they got for the other insurance that is for my brother has not been answered. I need to know why did you change the payment date agreed on which is after SASSA to the 31st of each month. The reason the funds were not available is because of the change of date which my father never authorised.
I am trying to understand how do you expect a 70 year old man to keep up with you changing the dates without him authorising while he is sick and hospitalised. I need clarity on that and what's next.
