Unreliable Standard bank

My father did a funeral claim policy on the 8th of November but he has not received any funds till now. He has been to the bank morethan 3 times and made a couple of calls but they still say it under assessment . Imagine if we didn't have any alternatives for the funeral arrangements we will be in trouble with laying our uncle to rest. Imagine paying R410 for a policy and being promised 48hours waiting period and now it close to 3 weeks. I'm so disappointed with standard bank and I will never recommend it to anyone
