Unpaid claim for standard bank
Hellopeter My name is Sibongile Khali i was referred by a friend, i need your help, im from durban but based in Ladysmith for work, i have funeral policy wth Standard bank, i lost my mom and did a claim on the 7th of March submitted all required documents but up until this day standard bank has not payed, i had to borrow money to bary my mom, i sent emails and calls but still im not getting any help from this bank, i have to pay the person i borrowed the money from to buy thing that were needed for the funeral, please help me, i was told that they take 24 hours to pay when i took this policy but now it more than 72hours without them paying my contuct number is *** my email address is ***. Someone called and asking me questions that are not related to the matter at hand, this guy asked me how many children my mother has, ask about my stepdad, is this related? Is it my siblings i took this cover for?
I have been in so much stress preparing for the funeral since they didnt pay, now im getting these questions which are not even related to pay me, i will now consult Ombud since standard bank is not paying my money
Im so disappointed with this bank, i hope they dont do this to someone else
