Storm water

I have a bind house with standard bank Apparently the house has a drainage problem or the foundation that is to low every summer I have one problem storm water that comes though the house my cupboard are damaged I am not at all they send the assessor he could see and he told me that the problem must be sorted permanently, to my surprise the called me back to say I don't have a claim but I am paying the insurance for things like storm. The consultant promised to send me the rejected report so that I can escalate the problem with the complaint department even now I am still waiting for the call.please assist
