Storm damage claim no action

Our home was damaged in a storm and the roof was badly affected, as well as the collapsing of a boundary wall to the property. We logged the claim immediately and as of now, 12 days later, we have no conclusion on this claim despite no less than three visits from contractors and assessors to view the damage. We had to make emergency repairs to the roof at our own cost to try and prevent further damage as it is now the rainy season and we now risk further damage when it rains. Whenever I contact them there is always some other report or assessment that needs to be completed and no conclusion. I am extremely disappointed at the level of service and support received, during what has already been a very stressful experience. And they have the audacity to send me an sms saying "we are here to support you"!? Disgusting.
