Standard bank vehicle insurance ****

Standard bank is running a ****. I have vehicle finance for about 3 years with standard bank. My vehicle has comprehensive insurance with First for Women. For a few months I discovered close to R2000 being added to vehicle finance. Upon enquiry I was informed it's for insurance. No one bothered to check if I need insurance in the first place and why was it done with no consultation. I sent my evidence of having insurance and was promised a refund. Waiting now 16 days and no refund. I think consultants just add insurance for commisiion perhaps and we clients suffer. What ****** chowing interest on my money.
