Standard bank short term insurance

So my claim was aproved on the 23 March for a accident that happened to the back of my car, today on the 28 of July, I received a email stating that my car can only go in for repairs on the 28th of August. HOW is it even possible to wait 4 months for a bumper, and even worse, if I dont follow up there will be no communication. VERY disappointing!
